Good Evening Panthers,

Thank you so much for helping us to make Literacy Week a success! Please check out all of our pictures on Facebook.  Don’t forget to turn in your Bingo Cards so your picture can go on the Wall of Fame. 

This Week: We will begin MAP testing.  Please make sure you review your child’s goals and encourage him/her to do their personal BEST!   

Mon., March 11th- Bingo cards are due and Parent Academy forms. 
Thurs., March 14th - 4K registration- if you know of anyone turning 4 years old by Sept. 1st, please encourage them to come out and register for school next year. 

Fri., March 15th – 4K Registration

Fri. March, 15th- Make Up Weather Day- Students will attend school.  

Looking Ahead:

Tues., March 19th- Spring Family Night 6pm - African Dancing and Drumming ~ Dinner will be served  

Tues., March 26th- National History Day Competition at the Bean Market

Fri., March 29th- Celebration of Learning and Report Cards issued.

Tardies: Please make sure your child arrives on time daily.  When students arrive late, they are missing instruction and breakfast. 

Attendance- Please make sure your child attends every day from 7:45 am-2:30 pm, attendance is very important to academic success.  Also, don’t forget to send in doctor excuses or a parent note for any days missed. 

Panther Pride Dress Code-please make sure students are dressed for success in their uniforms daily. 

Nightly Reading: Please continue to read nightly for at least 20 minutes and turn in your Reading Log weekly. Reading is one of the most important things you can do to increase student achievement.  Read, Read, Read….. and practice Sight Words. Don’t forget the Amazing Race Challenge.

Nightly Homework: Please check your child’s homework folder daily and practice basic Math Facts.
