Good Evening Panthers,

Happy Veteran’s Day to our brave family and friends, we honor, salute and thank you for serving our country!  Also, we would like to Thank everyone who came out to celebrate with us during our 1st Nine Weeks of Celebration of Learning and for supporting our Book Fair. 

This Week:

Mon., Nov. 12th- 1st grade field trip to Camp Leopold (Sawyer, Moore, Watson)- Please make sure your child has a signed permission slip and $6.00 admission fee; bus is leaving at 7:45 am.

Tues., Nov. 13th- 1st grade field trip to Camp Leopold (Baylor, Sullivan, Battiste)- Please make sure your child has a signed permission slip and $6.00 admission fee; bus is leaving at 7:45 am.

Piano Practice and Pantherette Practice

Thurs., Nov. 15th- Thanksgiving Feast – one guest per student, please check your child’s lunch schedule; Art Club and Piano Club

Fri., Nov. 16th- Snack Shack

Looking Ahead

Tues., Nov. 20th- Career Day

Wed., Nov. 21st-Fri. Nov. 23rd- Thanksgiving Break

Tues., Nov. 27th- Fall Make Up Picture Day

Wed., Nov. 28th- Pork Chop Theater- $3.00

Bus Update: Bus 1 and 24 are out this week.  Bus 1 am route will start at 8:00 am and PM route will be picked up after 4:30 pm.  If you are able to bring your child to school and pick them up, please do so.  We are sorry for any inconvenience.

Attendance- Please make sure your child attends every day from 7:45 am-2:30 pm, attendance is very important to academic success.  Also, don’t forget to send in doctor excuses or a parent note for any days missed. 

Panther Pride Dress Code-please make sure students are dressed for success in their uniforms daily.

Reading Challenge: Please continue to read nightly for at least 20 minutes and turn in your Reading Log weekly.  Book It Coupons will be rewarded at the end of each month. 

Nightly Homework: Please check your child’s homework folder daily and practice basic Math Facts.
