Good Evening Panthers,

A special Thanks to all the families that joined us for a fun night a Chuck E. Cheese.  We had a blast! Also, congratulation to all our school level National History Day winners, we are so proud of your hard work.  Displays will be available for parents on Thurs., March 22nd for viewing. 

This Week:

Don’t forget to raise a little “Dough” for our school with the Krispy Kreme Spring Fundraiser.

Thurs., March 15th- Pantherettes Picture Day- please bring your full cheer uniform for pictures. 

Fri., March 16th – Snack Shack will be open

Looking ahead:

March 20th- National History Day Competition at the Bean Market
March 21st – 1st Grade Field Trip- Alice in Wonderland, Florence Little Theater

March 22nd - Arts in Our School Night- 6pm (2nd graders will be performing.)

March 23rd- 5K Field Trip- Alice in Wonderland, Florence Little Theater

School Safety- Is top priority! We will conduct random searches weekly and the front doors will remain locked at all times.  If you are running late, please make sure you park and walk your child into the building. 

Spring Fundraiser - Krispy Kreme Doughnut Sale- Please help to raise a “Little Dough” for our school.  Doughnuts and certificates are available.  

Attendance- Please make sure your child attends every day from 7:45 am-2:30 pm, attendance is very important to academic success.  Perfect Attendance will be awarded to students who attend Full day with no tardies or early pick-ups.

Morning Procedures- If you would like to walk your child to class please be in the building by 7:40 am.  The instructional day begins at 7:45 am.

Dismissal- Please make sure all students are picked up daily by 3:00 pm. If you need to make a transportation change, please remember to send a signed note with changes.

Panther Pride Dress Code-please make sure students are dressed for success in their uniforms daily.

Reading Challenge: Amazing Race: Please continue to read nightly for at least 20 minutes and turn in your Reading Log weekly and take the Reading Counts comprehension test for each book read.

Nightly Homework: Please check your child’s homework folder daily and practice basic Math Facts.

As always, don’t forget to send in your Box Tops and remind your child to Be Ready, Respectful, and Responsible!  At LCECC, we are busy “Building Excellence: Every Child, Every Chance, Every Day!"
