Packet Drop Off Dates

Covid update
Beginning Monday, March 23, Florence School District 3 will shift its meal deliveries to bus riders and its “grab-and-go” food program to twice a week, while still providing a full week’s worth of nutritional breakfast and lunch meals.
On Monday, students will receive food for Monday and Tuesday. On Wednesday, students will receive food for the remainder of the week (Wednesday, Thursday and Friday).
The meal bags will contain breakfast, lunch and a snack, so only one trip needs to be made each day.
Any child who is 18 years old or younger can get drive-thru, “grab-and-go” meal bags at Lake City High on Mondays and Wednesdays from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. The child or children should be present at the time of pick up.
Buses will continue to deliver meals to regular bus stops on Mondays and Wednesdays from 10 a.m.-12 p.m.

Registration Information

It’s time to register your child for 2020-2021 school year.  All student registration must be completed online via the Power School Registration portal.  The portal will open on Wednesday, February 26, and closes Tuesday, June 30.

This process replaces the paper forms used in the past. It is also a secure way to upload necessary documents for proof of residency such as current light bill and picture ID (same address as light bill). If documents are not uploaded, your child will not be fully registered and the status of their application will remain pending until documents are presented to the school prior to school opening.

The process is easy. Just visit https://registration.powerschool.com/family/gosnap.aspx?host=FSD3 and create an account using your email or cell phone number. This allows you to securely save your work and come back at a later time if necessary.  If an account was created during the 2018-19 school year or thereafter – you do not have to create a new one just click on “Continue your Work” listed under “Already Entered a SnapCode.” Then enter your email address and click on Forgot Password.   (You will use the same account to complete forms for multiple children.)

PROCESS FOR RETURNING STUDENTS   (Students currently enrolled in FSD3)

Once you are logged in, select Returning Student Registration and enter the student’s SNAPCODE. The SNAPCODE is a key to your child’s registration form for the upcoming school year.  A Returning Student Registration form must be completed for each child who is currently enrolled in FSD3.  You will receive a unique SNAPCODE or SNAPCODE link for each child via email or letter. If you do not receive this information by Thursday, February 27, 2020 please contact the school in which the child is currently attending.

PROCESS FOR NEW STUDENTS (Students New to District)

Parents will need to register by selecting the New Student Registration portal.  There is no SNAPCODE required.  Just create an account and login to complete the application process.  Please note there may be additional paper work required by the school before your child is completely registered.

Uploading Documents – New and Returning Students

Using your cell phone take a picture of the document and send it to your email. Open it from your email and save it on your desktop. Now go to the upload document section listed within the application and click on choose a file, then select the location where file is saved and select the file to upload and then click upload file.
